Diffusers

Do ever wonder what keeps a Formula 1 race car glued to the ground? Its Downforce as a result of the pressure differential between the air flowing over and under the front or rear wing, the front splitter and the body of the car. A Race Car of such caliber can produce more than 1000lbs of downforce with the diffuser alone. 

The diffuser manages the air as it exits the rear underneath the car and reintegrates with a high pressure of ambient air. Doing so it's airflow is improved and turbulence's  reduced.

On our modern street vehicles it may not be as efficient as on a race car and arguably not as important, never the less the diffuser helps the airflow and but more importantly will look magnificent if you choose the right one.
