Born from our 997 GT2 tuning program, our Generation 2 997TT muffler saves even more weight over the previous generation.

Our exhausts have earned praise from owners and the press alike, due to their unique "Jekyll and Hyde" personality. We spend considerable time and effort during development to achieve remarkable civility when idling and at part throttle cruising, while also producing a war-cry wail when full throttle is applied.

Our exhausts are also like bespoke suits: each is hand made utilizing only the finest casing and packing materials, and they command respect without calling unwanted attention to themselves. Sophisticated, refined, and powerful, all at once. Further, each system is personalized with the original owner's name on the serial badge.

Utilizing 14 and 16 gauge 304 Stainless Steel and German made HJS 200 cell metal core catalysts, our muffler has been dyno proven to deliver a huge 24 crank horsepower and 30 crank torque improvement over stock in both normal and overboost modes. Meanwhile, our power improvements have come with no sacrifice to sound quality.

Even though our muffler design is a straight through configuration, our use of the most advanced sound packing materials and sound balancing within the single can eliminates drone when at cruising speeds. The sound at full throttle is pure, clean, and muscular.

Our design is modular, fitment is bolt on, and all tubes are one piece CNC mandrel bent. There are options that reuse OEM tips or you can opt for a system with our dual 3" stainless beveled wall tips, available in either Polished Silver or Diamond Black.

NOTE: our 997 Performance Exhaust does not include tips. We recommend using one of the tip sets noted above with this exhaust, in either Polished Silver or Diamond Black.

Our angle cut and beveled edge logo tips are 100% 304 stainless steel featuring double wall construction for resistance to heat discoloration. They are available in a Polished Silver or Diamond Black finish. Diamond Black is deep and lustrous nickel plating for a sophisticated stealth look.

As with all AWE Tuning ® exhaust products, each TIG weld is hand finished internally, only butt-welded junctions are used, and flange openings are size matched to their ports, all to produce the smoothest flow possible.
